Governor Adeleke Approves CONTEDISS Salary Scale for OSCO-HEALTH, Ilesa

Members of staff of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa are still basking in the euphoria of hearing the news that Governor Ademola Adeleke had approved the Consolidated Tertiary Directional Salary Structure, CONTEDISS, for them despite the fact that they have already started enjoying it since 2024.

This is a huge testament to the fact that welfare of Workers in the College has always been and still remains paramount to the Governor of Osun State.

Workers of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa will forever be grateful to the Governor because they have been agitating for the approval of the CONTEDISS salary scale which have not been successful at for many years.

But to the glory of God and the surprise of many, the Governor announced the approval of the improved salary scale for the College even without agitation.

It came at a time when the workers of the College had lost hope having taken the matter to previous administrations through the organised labour without success.

Governor Ademola Adeleke no doubt through the gesture, reaffirmed his commitment to workers welfare and especially workers of the Osun State College of Health Technology, llesa.

It is a marker to the fact that the Governor recognises their efforts and wants them to be at par with their contemporaries in other tertiary institutions spread across the State.

It is also a demonstration of the fact that the Governor recognises the fact that the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa is focused on a specialised field of academic studies(health training), hence workers in such an environment needs to be well motivated.

The College is one of the best health training institution in the country and it is obvious that the Governor wants it to remain so, reason for his various intervention in matters that affect the College.

The Governor through this ground breaking gesture has proven that the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa is ranked among the top tertiary institutions on the list of the Governor for interventions that will make it stay afloat and continue to be relevant among its peers in the area training quality health professionals.

It should be noted that since the approval of the CONTEDISS salary scale, members of staff of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa have been repaying the kind gesture of the Governor with a renewed vigour, strength and commitment to their various duties.

Day to day activities in the College has been going smoothly and very efficiently, members of staff are happy because they know that their welfare is paramount to Governor Ademola Adeleke and has indeed backed it up with action through the implementation of the CONTEDISS salary scale for them.

Some of them who spoke to the Public Relations Officer of the College praised the good heart of the Governor for taking steps to improve the College interms of infrastructure and welfare of Workers.

They echoed that the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa has never had it so good under any previous administration.
