BREAKING: POLICE FROM STATE CID ARREST ADELEKE MEDIA AIDE, HUNTS FOR OTHERS AT EDE

Officers of the Nigerian Police attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have reportedly arrested Uthman Olalekan, a media aide to Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the early hours of Friday, August 28.

The squad is also trailing and tracking four other media aides in what appears like a police witch hunting of the media team of the state governor.

Olalekan was reportedly arrested at his residence in Ede, Osun State, by four officers attached to the State CID. The development has attracted public attention, coming at a time of heightened political tension following the recent election and amid concerns about the treatment of political actors and their supporters.
