Samakin Abdul-Jeleel Abiodun (ORIWO), has distributed over 500 campaign face caps and branded vests to members of the Accord across the local government.
The distribution was met with great enthusiasm as party loyalists expressed their excitement and readiness to receive the performing Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who is scheduled to visit Ayedade Local Government tomorrow as part of his campaign tour ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
Addressing party members during the event, Hon. Samakin urged them to remain united, committed, and vigilant throughout the electioneering period. He encouraged members not to allow the opposition APC to mislead or deceive voters in their respective polling units and wards. He also stressed the importance of working harmoniously with party leaders and grassroots coordinators to secure victory for the Accord in the forthcoming governorship election.
According to him, every misunderstanding or personal grievance within the party should be set aside in the collective interest of victory. He emphasized that unity, teamwork, dedication, and hard work remain the winning strategy that will deliver success at the polls.

In further demonstration of his commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Samakin announced that 120 Accord members across Ayedade Local Government would benefit from his business support initiative before the governorship election. He disclosed that the list of beneficiaries has already been compiled, and each selected beneficiary will begin receiving financial support through the bank details submitted to the coordinators.
The intervention, which is focused on youths and women, represents the second phase of Hon. Samakin Abdul-Jeleel Abiodun ORIWO’s empowerment programme. He further assured members that the third phase of the initiative, aimed at expanding support for more youths and women, will commence immediately after the governorship election.
