Tinubu is Coasting Home to Victory in 2027- Governor Adeleke

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has predicted a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the January 16, 2027 presidential election, noting that the president’s re-election will afford him the time to consolidate on ongoing reforms to deliver intended benefits for Nigerians and set the country on the path of sustained progress.

Governor Adeleke stated this at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday during the inauguration of the President Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council, saying that he has a strong feeling that Nigerians will renew the mandate of President Tinubu at the poll.

The Governor who declared his readiness to lead the president’s re-election campaign in Osun state, said the movement for the re-election of President Tinubu is about Nigeria’s future and cannot be stopped.

“I declare today, that today is the day that the Lord has made, and we shall rejoice in it. I bring greetings all the way from Osun State. I am the light, and the light is here. I can feel the victory coming in 2027,” Governor Adeleke noted in a brief speech at the event.

“Nobody can stop this movement. Is there anybody that can stop this movement? I am ready to lead this movement. Yes, we are going to sing, we are going to dance all the way back to the Aso Rock.”

While emphasising the need for President Tinubu to see through his reforms and unleash their benefits for the country, Governor Adeleke said he accept to be a part of the president’s re-election to ensure that the good work he has started is not impeded.

“So, anybody that is thinking otherwise, we must give our father (Tinubu), President of this nation time, time for his reforms to work. It is not easy, four years is not enough. That is why I am here to throw my weight because, we want actions, not too much talking. Because, we don’t have time” he added.

“The work has begun. I have already started mine from every corners. Let us rise, let us rise, and make sure that our President (Tinubu) come back for the second term so that he can complete his good work.”

Governor Adeleke urged Nigerians to imbibe the culture of praying for leaders, particularly the President, noting that as long as the President succeeds, the ripple effect will be felt by all Nigerians.

“And what I want Nigerians to do, is to pray for our leaders. Continue to pray for our leaders; continue to pray for Mr President (Tinubu). If he succeed, we all succeed. And I know, by the special grace of God, we shall get there.”
