Comr. Samakin Lauds Akinloye Simon’s Courage, Endorses Bid for Federal House of Representatives

The Chairman of Olaniyi Simeon Akinloye (OSA) 2027 Campaign Committee, Hon./Comr. Samakin Abduljeleel Abiodun, who is also Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Osun State on Media Monitoring, has commended Hon Olaniyi Simeon Akinloye for his courage and confidence in declaring his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat for Ayedade, Isokan, and Irewole Federal Constituency.
In a statement personally signed in his office in Osogbo, Hon. Samakin acknowledged the inclusive nature of the constituency, which comprises three local governments; Ayedade, Isokan, and Irewole. He noted that any qualified individual from these local governments has the constitutional right to aspire to represent the people at the Green Chamber.
Hon. Samakin described Akinloye Simon as a grassroots-oriented personality who has demonstrated commitment to community development, particularly through his support for the less privileged. According to him, this aspiration presents a greater opportunity for Akinloye to expand his service to the people, leveraging his experienced across both the private and public sectors.
He further emphasized that Akinloye’s youthfulness, consistency, and resilience set him apart. “Since the 2022 and 2023 elections, he has remained actively engaged with the people and has never distanced himself from the grassroots. He is vibrant, dependable, and well-positioned to effectively represent the good people of Ayedade, Isokan, and Irewole at the National Assembly,” he stated.

Hon. Samakin also clarified that the OSA 2027 movement’s support for Akinloye is driven by genuine belief in his capacity and leadership potential, not financial influence. “Our support is rooted in conviction. We believe in his vision, his competence, and the values instilled in him through his family background. We are committed to supporting credible youth leadership in our constituency.”
Reflecting on past political engagements, he noted that while the movement has supported aspirants in the past; sometimes without due appreciation, it remains undeterred in its mission to promote credible and people-oriented leadership. “We will continue to stand by aspirants who value the people and demonstrate strong potential to serve selflessly,” he affirmed.
Hon. Samakin expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him to serve as Chairman of the OSA 2027 Campaign Planning Committee. He described the role as another opportunity to serve collectively and selflessly. “Our mission is not driven by personal interest but by our shared commitment to the people who believe in our capacity to deliver.”
Commending Akinloye for formally obtaining his membership card under the Accord, Hon. Samakin described the move as a bold and historic step necessary for any serious political aspiration. “By publicly declaring his intention and formalizing his party membership, Akinloye Simon has demonstrated readiness and commitment to the democratic process.”

He concluded by reaffirming the movement’s dedication to integrity, unity, and success. “This is where we stand as the OSA Movement 2027. Together, we shall succeed and work with integrity throughout this journey.”
