Police R£scue K!dnapped Woman in Edo 

The Edo State Police Command, in collaboration with local security outfits, rescued 57-year-old Mrs. Vivian George, who was abducted at Igbanke.

The Policed Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Edo State Command, ASP Eno Ikoedem, in a statement indicated that the victim was abducted on Saturday, on her way to the farm with her son, named Chinedu, who managed to escape living only her mother with the kidnappers.

According to the PPRO, the police acted upon receiving the report from her son, and Mobilized detectives alongside members of the Edo State Security Corps and local hunters, into the forest and engaged the kidnappers in a shootout, leading to the rescue of the woman, as the Kidnappers fled.

The victim was rescued unhurt and have been reunited with her family members, after the successful operation.

The Commissioner of Police in Edo State, CP Monday Agbonika, commended the bravery and swift response of the operatives, and the collaborating local security teams, whose coordinated effort led to the successful rescue operation.
