Governor Adeleke Rejects ‘Tabon Tabon’ Politicians, IREE and OSUN Express Solidarity

Iree town and Osun people have rejected gun shooting (tabon tabon) politicians in favour of light and good governance that the Accord represents,
Governor Adeleke made the assertion at the palace of Aare of Iree, Oba Muritala Oyelakin amidst lockdown from the town’s gate to the palace.
The governor whose convoy was slowed down to a snail speed declared that Osun people have embraced ‘light’ and rejected politicians shooting and wounding Osun people instead of engaging in peaceful campaigns.
It would be recalled that a chieftain of Iree, Mr Adebayo Adeleke Banik was seen in a viral video chanting “tabon tabon’ in the wake of killings and gunattacks blamed on the political thugs of the Osun APC.

After more than two hours to rach the palace of Arre, the governor mocked “hose making noise about Iree not being with Accord, declaring that “Iree people have proved naysayers wrong.
“Osun people from town to town confirmed deep love for Imole. Iree people showered love. Those preaching tabon tabon have been rejected by Osun people.
“Light has entered Iree. Light has entered Osun. Darkness will never enter again. Good governance will be re-confirmed come August 15th.
“We will not stop developing Iree and other parts of Osun. We promise to ensure more road development, education, health and other social projects”, the governor told the town people at the palace.

The royal father while welcoming the governor and leaders of Accord said Iree is loved and elated to vote for the re-election of Governor Adeleke.
“For your respect for Iree, God will answer you. Nobody wants darkness. Once imole arrived, darkness vanished. Ire is with you.
“Iree at home and abroad are with you. If they say I’m with you, ask them if I sent them away from the palace.
“The governor has done well for Iree and Osun and we must say it. We know you will complete Iree to Ada road. We know you have several projects in stock for my people and Osun people”, the royal father noted.
