Aseyori Imole Osun Celebrates Pelumi Olajengbesi At 40, Hails Him As a Pillar Of Democracy

The Osun Grassroots Media Team, popularly known as Aseyori Imole Osun, has joined thousands of well-wishers across Osun State and beyond to celebrate and congratulate the Spokesperson to the IMOLE Campaign Council, Comrade Pelumi Olajengbesi, on the occasion of his 40th birthday anniversary.

Olajengbesi, who is also the Accord candidate for the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, has been described by the group as a pillar of democracy and a strong voice for justice, particularly for his consistent advocacy for human rights, public interest, good governance, and the rule of law.

In a statement duly signed by the group, Aseyori IMOLE Osun commended Olajengbesi for his remarkable contributions to the re-election campaign of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing him as a fearless and committed spokesperson who has defended the administration and spoken against what he considers acts of impunity and injustice by APC and their police collaborators.

“As the Spokesperson to the IMOLE Campaign Council, Pelumi Olajengbesi has distinguished himself through his tireless commitment to the re-election bid of Governor Ademola Adeleke. He has demonstrated courage and conviction in challenging perceived acts of impunity and injustice throughout the campaign. There is no doubt that Olajengbesi remains a valuable asset to the IMOLE movement and a blessing to the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke,” the group stated.

The group further noted that Olajengbesi, who is the convener of Public Interest Lawyers and former Students’ Union President of University of Abuja, has made significant contributions to society through his legal practice and public advocacy. According to Aseyori IMOLE Osun, his impact extends beyond politics, as demonstrated by his various scholarship initiatives for students and indigent members of society, as well as empowerment programmes for artisans, traders, and other vulnerable groups.

The group described him as a man whose public service is driven by a genuine desire to create positive change and improve the lives of ordinary people.

“Pelumi Olajengbesi is a man of many impacts. His commitment to education, youth development, legal advocacy, and grassroots empowerment has continued to inspire many people across Osun State and beyond,” the statement added.
