Akogun Lere Oyewumi’s Transformative Leadership Draws Praise from Constituents

By Comrade Samakin Abdul-Jeleel Abiodun (ORIWO)

Osun West Senatorial District is fortunate to have more than just a representative in Abuja; we have an advocate, a bridge-builder, and a leader who has never looked down on anyone.

Distinguished Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi, who represents the good people of Osun West, has performed excellently on the mandate entrusted to him. Under his watch, better roads have been facilitated, empowerment programmes have reached the grassroots, and real, measurable change has swept across the ten local government areas of our district.

Akogun is a practical politician who remains firmly connected to the grassroots. His open-door policy and tireless commitment to service have given our people renewed hope.

Study his political strategy closely and you will agree: his vision stretches far beyond personal ambition. He is not merely occupying an office; he is building systems and delivering projects that touch every corner of our communities.

In less than four years, his representation has attracted massive infrastructure to the district: road constructions, classroom blocks, erosion control projects, and community transformers. Add to these his people-centred leadership, rural interventions, and consistent financial support for the less privileged, and the picture of a true servant-leader emerges complete.

His accessibility, trustworthiness, and close working relationship with traditional councils, grassroots leaders, and ordinary citizens alike cannot be overstated.

Indeed, Akogun Lere Oyewumi’s achievements continue to define politics in its truest sense; the authoritative allocation of values and resources for the common good of the majority.

We are proud of a stewardship that faithfully reflects the aspirations of our people. His commitment to the development of Osun West — through legislative engagement, project implementation, and manpower development; has remained unparalleled and undeterred over these three years.

Our man of integrity has proven that leadership is a challenge and an opportunity to serve the people, never personal interest. He listens to ordinary citizens — and he acts on what he hears.

Senator Oyewumi continues to think outside the box, and he stands ready to take Osun West to towering new heights in the National Assembly. His capacity, competence, exposure, experience, and dedication remain unmatched in the history of our senatorial district.

The good people of Osun West are proud of his achievements, and confident in his capacity to lead us to even greater development across all ten local government areas.

Let us stand with him again. Let us support his candidacy, once more, for the continued progress of our people.
