Over 500 Beneficiaries Laud Adeleke Administration as 20 Voice Group Conducts Free Medical Outreach in Egbedore

Over 500 beneficiaries of a free medical outreach in Egbedore Local Government Area have commended the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke for its people-oriented initiatives, while also appreciating the 20 Voice Group for remembering the less privileged at the grassroots.
The medical outreach, organized by the 20 Voice Group, an initiative formed by the Special Assistants to the Governor was part of the major agenda of the current administration aimed at delivering tangible dividends of democracy to the people. Egbedore Local Government was selected as one of the benefiting communities for the free medical services.
The programme was held at the Awo Civic Centre, Egbedore Local Government Area. In addition to medical services, palliative items were distributed to beneficiaries as part of the forum’s commitment to supporting Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration and ensuring that grassroots communities directly benefit from government interventions.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the 20 Voice Forum and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Olawale Olasunkanmi, highlighted the focus and objectives of the initiative. He emphasized that the programme was not only important to the beneficiaries but also to the organizers, as it aligns with the administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people. Services provided during the outreach included general medical check-ups, blood pressure screening, blood sugar tests, and other essential health services.
The Director of Egbedore Primary Health Centre, Mrs. Akinwumi Ajibola, addressed beneficiaries on health and nutrition, stressing the importance of balanced diets, personal hygiene, and disease prevention. She further explained why good health remains critical to productive living and societal development.
In her closing remarks, Mrs. Ajibola appreciated the 20 Voice Forum for remembering the grassroots and prioritizing the health of the people, noting that such initiatives align with the fundamental goals of the Adeleke-led administration, where citizens’ welfare remains paramount.
Representing the Executive Governor of Osun State, Hon. Taiwo Adeleke, Chairman of the Osun State Tourism Board, commended the organizers for the successful execution of the programme. He also appreciated the people of Egbedore Local Government for their cooperation, which contributed greatly to the success of the outreach.
Hon. Taiwo Adeleke further emphasized the importance of good health to humanity, describing it as a basic necessity that enables individuals to plan for the future. According to him, no community can truly thrive without healthy and well-nourished citizens.
Dignitaries present at the event included the Member, Osun State House of Assembly, Egbedore Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Ogunrinade; Hon. Bakare Rahmani, Ward 08 Councillor, Egbedore; HRM Alawo of Awon, Dr. Ayoola Adebisi; Raji Olukitibi of Kitibi Land; HRM Oba Olusola of Ido Osun; HRM Oba Agberi of Iragberi, among others.
In his final remarks, Hon. Olawale Olasunkanmi acknowledged the support of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Kolapo Akinleye, as well as Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, Hon. Bamidele Salam, and other stakeholders who continue to demonstrate genuine concern for the welfare of grassroots communities and the less privileged.
