Osun to Host Third Edition of Women in Politics Summit on Democracy Day

As part of activities marking this year’s Democracy Day celebration, the third edition of the Osun Women in Politics (WIP) Summit is set to hold on Friday, June 12, 2026, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

With the theme “Recognizing the Titans, Empowering Women for Political Leadership,” the summit aims to bring together women across the state who are passionate about governance, leadership, and democratic participation.

Organisers say the event will serve as a platform for bold and visionary women to engage in meaningful conversations, build capacity, and strengthen networks necessary for increased participation in politics and decision-making processes.
