Leadership Failure Exposed: Calls for Accountability Against Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye

This is a clear, firm, and uncompromising message to the leadership of our great party at the state level: the people of Ife Central State Constituency will NEVER accept the imposition of any candidate, no matter who is involved in Ife Central Local Government.
Let it be understood without ambiguity: a micro minority can never dictate to the majority. Any attempt to impose Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye on the people of Ife Central will be strongly resisted.
It is deeply disappointing that barely months after assuming office, Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye has turned what should have been a unifying leadership into a tool for division, favoritism, and political manipulation. His tenure so far has been characterized by actions that clearly undermine the collective interest of party members in Ife Central.
We state it boldly and without fear: Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye has continuously denied the general members of Ife Central the benefits meant for them, diverting such opportunities to a single individual Mr Ayobami Folorunso aka Ayo Soldier, at the expense of the majority. This is unacceptable and a betrayal of the trust reposed in him.
Even more disturbing is the widely known and openly discussed claim that Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye has taken an oath with Ayo Soldier, pledging absolute loyalty and submission to his wishes and commands. This raises a fundamental question:
Who truly represents Ife Central—Hon. Abiola Awoyeye or Ayo Soldier?
The people cannot and will not be governed by proxy.
Under his watch, Ife Central has witnessed nothing but political hijack, selfish interest, and deliberate exclusion of loyal party members. During critical periods, including intervention programs meant to benefit the people, resources were allegedly hijacked and handed over to Ayo Soldier, leaving the majority sidelined and neglected.
There are also serious and troubling allegations that Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye facilitated the building of a four-bedroom duplex for Ayo Soldier, while ordinary party members struggle to feel the impact of representation. This is a gross misuse of influence and a clear demonstration of misplaced priorities.
Furthermore, despite being allocated three Special Assistant (SA) slots, Hon. Abiola Awoyeye reportedly failed to recognize any deserving members across the wards. Instead, these opportunities were concentrated within the camp of Ayo Soldier. This is not leadership, it is oppression and exclusion.
CRITICAL FAILURE OF REPRESENTATION AND TOTAL INACCESSIBILITY
Most alarming, however, is the fact that Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye is completely invisible within the constituency.
He does not have a known residence, neither a personal house nor a verifiable rented apartment within Ife Central where constituents can identify or reach him. As party members, we cannot trace our own representative to any location within the constituency.
This is a grave failure of representation.
An elected representative who is absent, unreachable, and disconnected from the people has failed in the most basic responsibility of public office. Constituents are left stranded, with no access to their representative, no physical presence to engage, and no structure through which their concerns can be addressed.
Representation without accessibility is meaningless.
Ife Central is currently facing a serious challenge because the very person elected to represent the people is not available to them.
In light of these issues, we respectfully call on the state leadership of our party to urgently:
Conduct thorough consultations with grassroots members, ward executives, and key stakeholders across Ife Central.
Investigate the concerns and allegations raised regarding the leadership and conduct of Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye.
Ensure fairness, transparency, and inclusiveness in all political decisions affecting the constituency.
Reject any attempt to impose a candidate without the consent and support of the majority.
Any attempt to impose Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye on Ife Central will not only be rejected, it will be fiercely resisted. Such a move will create serious division within the party and may lead to consequences that could have been avoided through fairness and proper consultation.
We therefore issue this strong call to the state leadership:
Do not ignore the voice of the majority.
Do not reward failure, division, and disloyalty to the people.
Do not impose a candidate that has clearly lost the confidence of his constituency.
The survival, unity, and future electoral success of our party in Ife Central depend on the decisions made now.
We demand justice.
We demand fairness.
We demand a leadership that truly represents the people not one controlled by personal allegiance to an individual.
The time to act is now.
Ife Central will not be taken for granted.
