The Federal Government has signed a PPP concession for Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, to modernise infrastructure and spur economic growth in the South East.

ICRC oversaw the deal, ensuring compliance with national PPP rules. The project aims to enhance connectivity, trade, and tourism while attracting private investment, with Governor Peter Mbah and Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo credited for driving the initiative.
