Engr. Babalola Obisesan (BABS) Applauds Gov. Ademola Adeleke Over Massive Road Projects in Oriade/Obokun

The House of Representatives aspirant for Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, Engr. Babalola Obisesan (BABS), has poured encomiums on the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for what he described as a landmark infrastructural revolution across Ijesaland, particularly in Oriade and Obokun Local Governments.
Speaking in reaction to the historic flag-off of the reconstruction of the bridge linking Ilahun and Ere Ijesa, as well as the Ibokun/Ilahun/Aree Ijesa–Iwoye Ijesa and Otan-Ile–Esa-Odo–Iwoye Ijesa roads, Engr. Obisesan said the Governor has once again demonstrated that leadership is about walking the talk.
“Your Excellency has proven beyond reasonable doubt that governance is not about empty promises but about visible performance. The proof of the pudding is indeed in the eating,” BABS declared.
He noted that within just two and a half years, the Adeleke administration has left no stone unturned in transforming the infrastructural landscape of Ijesaland. From the completion of Oba Ademoroti Road, Oke-Opo, Ilesa, to Oke-Iyin Road, Ajimoko Road in Ilesa West, and the construction of all link roads to the University of Ilesa, the Governor has steadily turned rough terrains into smooth corridors of economic growth.
Other completed projects including the Police Station Junction to Iloba Junction in Osu, the Roundabout to Council Secretariat Road in Iperindo, Ijana Street in Imesi-Ile and Oke Agunla Road in Ipetu-Ijesa, among others, stand as visible testimony that the dividends of democracy are no longer a mirage in Ijesaland.
Commending the Governor for the ongoing dualisation of Ereja Square to Akure Road and the bridge construction linking Ilahun and Ere Ijesa, BABS described the flag-off ceremony in Obokun as a breath of fresh air and a new dawn for our people.
“When others were playing politics, Governor Adeleke chose performance. When cynics doubted, he delivered. Today, our roads speak louder than words,” he said.
Engr. Obisesan particularly thanked the Governor for prioritising the welfare and development of the people of Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, stressing that the projects will open up rural communities, enhance commerce, reduce travel time and improve the standard of living for residents.
“On behalf of the good people of Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, I say a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Governor. You have written your name in gold in the sands of time. History will remember you kindly, BABS added.
He further reaffirmed his support for Governor Adeleke’s second term bid, emphasising that continuity is key to sustaining the ongoing transformation.
“We are solidly behind Your Excellency for a second term. A winning team deserves another chance. Imole will not dim; it will shine brighter till 2030 and beyond,” he declared confidently.
Engr. Babalola Obisesan concluded by urging the people of the Ijesa North federal constituency to continue supporting the Governor, noting that when leadership meets sincerity of purpose, transformation becomes inevitable.
