Easter: NUEE President Felicitates Christian Workers, Harps on Unity and Dedication

The National President of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), Comrade Engr. Biyi Adeyeye, has congratulated Christian workers across the country on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, urging them to remain united, steadfast, and dedicated in their service to the nation.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Adeyeye described Easter as a sacred season of reflection, sacrifice, and renewed hope. He noted that the period calls for a deeper appreciation of the supreme sacrifice made by Jesus Christ, as well as the enduring lessons of love, humility, selflessness, and perseverance it represents.

Engr. Adeyeye specifically commended Christian workers for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to national development, particularly in the power sector, despite prevailing challenges. He encouraged them to draw strength and inspiration from the values of Easter in the discharge of their duties and in their daily interactions.

He further urged workers to uphold unity, discipline, and professionalism, stressing that a committed and harmonious workforce remains vital to improved service delivery and sustainable growth in the electricity sector.

The NUEE President also reassured members of the union’s continued commitment to protecting their welfare, rights, and interests, while advocating for policies that will enhance efficiency and stability in the power industry.

He called on Nigerians to use the Easter period to pray for peace, progress, and economic stability in the country, emphasizing the need for collective responsibility in building a better nation.

Adeyeye wished all Christian workers a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Easter celebration.
